Hallelujah Land - where it all began

Hallelujah Land: Songs of Faith and Freedom is a collection of ten original songs. It includes the titular "hit" song that propelled me to the status of "Slowest Rising Star in Jewish Music." It was released in 1998 and, stickler for consistency that I am, I've remained The Slowest Rising Star in Jewish Music. This album was recorded in California, produced by that Contemporary Jewish Music Wizard Troy Dexter, and includes a guest vocal by Julie Silver. The songs range in style from a capella street corner to pop ballad to all out Gospel. The themes include spirituality, biblical references, social justice and life cycle, and three of the songs contain some Hebrew lyrics. Other standouts on the record include "Early In The Morning," "With These Hands" and "Joshua's Band."

You can purchase a copy of this and my CD Metaphor here, on my online store.
