Noah Budin is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, recording artist, actor, storyteller, educator and program director with his hands in a diverse variety of projects.
In the 1980’s and 90’s, Noah was one of the members of the Chicago based a capella music and comedy group “Four Guys Standing Around Singing.” During that time he toured nationally, performing on college campuses (winning the “Entertainer of the Year” award three years in a row from the National Association of Campus Activities), at summer festivals, state fairs, private parties and corporate events, on radio and television programs in local markets around the country, industrials for companies including Kraft and M&M Mars, and in clubs, including Catch A Rising Star in New York, Boston, Chicago, and Las Vegas, and opened for or headlined with Jerry Sinefeld, Rich Little, The Amazing Jonathan, The Gatlin Brothers, Carol Leifer, Skip Ewing, Janeane Garofalo, Gary Puckett and Chubby Checker.
For over 500 performances in 2001 – 02, Noah played the roles of Sal Antonucci and Vinnie Black in Cleveland’s longest running hit show Tony ‘n’ Tina’s Wedding at the Hanna Theater in Playhouse Square. Noah also played the roles of Lazar Wolf in Cain Park’s highly acclaimed production of Fiddler on the Roof, and Stanley Berent in The End of the World by Arthur Kopit at the Absolute Theater Company in Chicago, IL, in this play’s first production outside of New York.
In addition to having toured the country as a singer and stand-up comedian, Noah has appeared in television commercials, done voice-overs for radio, appeared in numerous theatrical presentations and worked in films. He has been a camp counselor, song leader, drama specialist, music specialist and unit supervisor at overnight and day camps and has taught pre-school, second grade religious school, and general music for grades K-8. For eight years Noah was an artist with Young Audiences of Greater Cleveland, performing assemblies, designing workshops and serving as artist in residence for schools across Northeast Ohio, and is a published poet.
Currently, Noah tours the country performing his original music, and is the Assistant Director of Activities for the Stone Gardens Assisted Living Residence at Menorah Park in Beachwood, Ohio. Noah has released two CDs of original music, Hallelujah Land: Songs of Faith and Freedom (1998) and Metaphor (2006).
